    • Glen Briggs is born. His childhood will be troubled as he is raised in a broken home.
  • March 15, 2081
    • Xavier Allenrod is born. Throughout his childhood, his parents will nurture his scientific curiosity.
  • February 29, 2092
    • Tecgui is born. As this is a leap year, he will tease that he only celebrates his birthday once every four years.
  • December 8, 2094
    • After convincing a Navy recruiter to look the other way on a technical violation of established procedure, Briggs drops out of high school to enlist. Over the course of his tour of service, he will complete his high school degree.
  • December 8, 2098
    • Having completed his term in the service, Briggs is honorably discharged. A week later he begins attending college with the navy financing his education.
  • May 16, 2099
    • Glen Briggs and Kathleen Povey are married in a small private ceremony. Briggs will remain extremely private about his personal life in order to protect his wife.
  • May 1, 2102
    • Briggs graduates with a four year degree from college. Almost immediately, he is recruited into the CNSCP through one of his Navy contacts.
  • September 14, 2105
    • Kathleen Briggs dies from a terminal brain tumor, leaving Glen Briggs to be the sole caretaker of their daughter, Cecilia. As a result, Briggs arranges to scale back the number of assignments and operations to which he is assigned. When he is away, he is able to arrange for relatives and family friends to look after Cecilia.

    • With his daughter growing up without him, and starting to question his absences and his own body aging out of it's prime, [[Glen Briggs}Briggs]] retires from the field and begins work behind a desk in an administrative role of tactical planning and resource allocation. Although it does have it's demand on his time, it probes far less taxing than the field work and Briggs is able to strengthen his relationship with Cecilia.

    • Xavier Allenrod completes his schooling and begins his work in bio-mechanical applications. His work will eventually attract the attention of the CNSCP.

    • Tecgui graduates, Cum Laude, with an engineering doctorate from MIT. He is immediately recruited into CNSCP R&D.

    • Having displayed an incredible aptitude for learning and comprehension, Cecilia Briggs begins taking classes at U.C. Berkley to study Biochemistry and Biochemical Engineering.

    • Tecgui begins early conceptual work on AI development and Cybernetic enhancement with Xavier Allenrod. Project remains a 'back burner' but will ultimately become Project Delphi.

    • After undergoing a series of surgeries to implant prototype cybernetic components, Xavier Allenrod loses control and turns violent in the CNSCP lab. Dozens are killed during the incident.

    • In the aftermath of congressional hearings, and politics, Project Delphi is officially shuttered and it's research is classified. The project is put on indefinite hold despite the protestations of Dr. Briggs and Tecgui. Despite this, Tecgui and Cecilia Briggs Continue to work on their research and determine. Once it is determined that the problem was an overload of the biological brain tissue and neural system.

    • Chen is promoted to mid-level work, providing supplemental support in the field through her analysis and intelligence data.
  • July 4, 2130
    • Now in command of his own team, Barrett defies orders of the officer on scene at a bombing against Chicago's federal reserve office. He inserts himself, leaving his team behind. Although he is successful in ending the standoff and freeing the hostages, Barrett's disregard for protocol and his 'lone wolf' attitude result in his being stripped of his command.

    • Frustrated over the fallout of his demotion, Barrett leaves SWAT and goes to work as a mid-level operator and trainer for the CNSCP

    • Tecgui and Cecilia Briggs refine their theories and propose a re-direction of the project to Director Briggs. Although initially reluctant, Briggs approves the project for further development. Work on Project Delphi resumes. this time instead of augmenting an existing human, with the intent to create an AI from scratch and implant it into a cybernetic body.
  • March 5, 2132
    • Using their notes and off the books work from the black out period, Tecgui and Cecilia Briggs conclude the roadblocks they are facing are insurmountable As a result, Tecgui, Cecilia, and the Project Delphi team, abandon the concept of building an AI from scratch. Instead, they begin work to stitch together a gestalt intelligence from multiple donor memories schemes. Initial successes in this work indicate a promising route.
  • January 17, 2133
    • Out for a night with her boyfriend, Charles Tyson, Cecilia Briggs is invilved in a car crash after it is ambushed by an unknown assailant. The resulting chase sends the vehicle over the cliff and the two are killed. Her last words are "Tell him to use me. I volunteer" Grief Striken, Briggs allows his daughter's memories and central nervous system to be incorporated into the prototype AI.

    • For the first time, Tecgui's team is able to spin the recorded memories of several volunteers into a single consciousness. These memories include those of Cecilia Briggs.
  • February 21, 2133
    • Having assumed a female persona and calling itself Ciris, the Project Delphi consciousness is deemed self-aware after having passed the Touring Test. Briggs authorizes the construction of a female form to match it's gender identity. This body is designed to resemble Cecilia Briggs almost identically. Early personality tests and interviews indicate that Ciris believes herself to be a front line agent for the CNSCP. It is assumed that these were the skills and memories that took root when the multiple memories were mapped over one another.
  • June 1, 2133
    • The Delphi AI, Ciris, is transferred into the constructed cybernetic body. Tests to determine field suitability begin.
  • September 1, 2133
    • After being 'rehabilitated', and believing herself to have been recovering after a brutal car accident which claimed the life of her husband, Ciris is certified for active field duty.
    • Project Delphi is officially closed as work continues in a far more informal manner.
  • April 22, 2136
    • Chen is caught in a building explosion and the subsequent collapse. After being recovered by Ciris, all of her limbs are amputated and replaced with cybernetic prosthesis.
  • April 26, 2136
    • Seeing that he can use Kittler's network to his advantage, Allenrod kills him, making it look like old age and falsifies the required paperwork to inherit everything from Kittler, including his identity. He uses the estate to build his foundation and begin his plans to exact revenge on the CNSCP..

    • Having received cybernetic prosthesis to replace her mangled limbs, Chen returns to duty as a CNSCP field operative.

    • Ciris leads a team to the Lexington hotel in in order to arrest a known cyber terrorist - Dr. Leon Quincy. The operation does not go well and significant collateral damage ensues and Ciris is incapacitated.

    • After receiving a threat from Cybrosis, Ciris works undercover to secure a fine arts Gala at which Briggs will be in attendance. While there, she again encounters Cybrosis.
  • October 28, 2139
    • When Tecgui comes to check on her, Ciris is attacked by Quincy. She kills him in self defense.
  • October 30, 2139
    • Believing herself to be in danger from within the CNSCP, Ciris goes rogue.
  • October 31, 2139
    • Following her own leads generated by interviewing an SMT executive, Ciris infiltrates SMT headquarters and obtains a copy of their initial research data. While there, she is intercepted by Chen. The two come to blows, but unite when they are attacked by building security. They escape together.
  • October 31, 2139
    • Ciris makes contact with Xavier Allenrod and she and Chen agree to work together to find the truth.
    • Understanding Allenrod to be an anonymous benefactor to her plight, Ciris and Chen arrange a face to face. Allenrod deceives them and they agree to remain his guests.
  • November 1, 2139
    • When Chen turns up missing, Ciris searches for her. Her search proves fruitful when she discovers hidden files indicating that he was the author of the Cybrosis Virus. After breaking Chen free, the two retreat and regroup.
    • Believing the time to be right to seize control of IU-899, the Halcyon System and destroy the Center, Xavier Allenrod leads an army of augmented humans against the Center.
    • Ciris and Chen rally CNSCP forces to defend the complex. The defense holds but at a high, brutal, and bloody cost.
    • Director Briggs and Tecgui are held hostage by Allenrod but are rescued by Chen.
    • Ciris and Chen confront Allenrod in IU-899. Although Ciris successfully destroys the Halcyon System access point, preventing it from falling into Allenrod's hands, he bests Ciris, almost killing her. Her final fail-safe triggers. Allenrod also bests Chen, maiming her in the process. After recovering from the fail safe download, Ciris defeats and kills Allenrod.

    • Ciris takes personal leave from the CNSCP to regroup, mourn her late husband and to collect herself.
  • November 16, 2139
    • Tecgui and Chen begin their collaboration on new R&D field equipment. One of these pieces will eventually include the Modular Tactical Armor. As they work together, they grow closer.
  • December 1, 2139
    • Tecgui is served with divorce papers by his wife who, despite loving him still, can not live with the constant absence from the family to be at work. Tecgui is initially shocked at this given that she has stuck around under similar circumstances for over twenty years. She bears him no ill will but is unable to continue living in this matter, and has only stayed as long as she has in the hopes of it getting better, and later with the intention of making it easier on the couple's children.
  • December 31, 2139
    • Tecgui and Chen attend the CNSCP New Years Eve Party. While there, his emotions get the better of him and he turns to Chen, in whom he had been confiding, for emotional support. Chen provides the emotional outlet and by the time the night is over, the two are left wondering if their relationship has deepened. When he returns to work after the holiday, Tecgui quietly asks Briggs if there would be an issue. Briggs does not stand in his way and the two begin a romantic relationship, moving slowly at first.
  • February 19, 2140
    • Tecgui's divorce proceedings are finalized. Shortly there after he starts to explore a deeper relationship with Chen who, as a matter of honor, insists she see his finalized papers declaring the divorce complete before she will allow their romance to escalate.
  • March 30, 2140
    • Over the course of the previous four months, Ciris, Barrett, and their support team discover that Lazarus Security had engineered the DDOS attack for the sole purpose of taking over Doha.
    • Tensions develop in Ciris and Barrett's relationship when it is discovered that Lazarus Security had been behind the DDOS all along.
    • Ciris infiltrates the Doha seat of power and discovers the city is powered by a central mainframe virtual intelligence, controlled by five users.
    • Ciris is captured by Lazarus' commander, Colonel Travis Dunsford. While in his custody, Ciris interfaces with the Virtual Intelligence and through this interaction, is able to force Lazarus out of Doha.
  • April 1, 2140
    • Ciris and Barrett mend the tension between the two of them. However, the relationship is seemingly ended when Barrett is assigned to long term deep cover. He will remain under cover for almost five months.

    • Ciris and Barrett mend the tension between the two of them. However, the relationship is seemingly ended when Barrett is assigned to long term deep cover and Ciris is recalled back to CNSCP headquarters to launch her own task force.
  • April 15, 2140
    • Barrett infiltrates a middle eastern terrorist cell in a long term deep cover operation during which he has only tenuous contact with the outside world. Posing as an american ex-patriot Barrett is able to gain the trust of his quarry by providing intelligence on American security interests over seas. Working with them, he spends the net four months assisting in the planning of a major terrorist attack on US interests around the world. However, on the day of the intended attack, all parties involved are ambushed and apprehended due to Barrett’s fore warning. Barrett too is ‘captured’ but only in as much as is necessary to continue to play his cover and extract him back to the CNSCP for debrief.

Slipspace[edit]

  • August 12, 2810'
    • Jenna Labonne undergoes genetic therapy to re-train her immune system. This, for all intents and purposes cures her Lupis, though the condition will be monitored throughout her life.
  • October 17, 2815
    • The Copernicus, a Terran scout ship on a deep space assignment, encounters a swarm of unknown lifeforms. They divert to investigate but are immediately attacked and overwhelmed. The ship is destroyed, but not before a distress call is sent to Hyperion Outpost.
  • October 20, 2815
    • A terran expeditionary unit out of Hyperion Outpost is attacked by a swarm of alien lifeforms while following up on the distress call of the Copernicus. These aliens, later to be known as the Ralgon, overwhelm the squadron and the Terrans retreat to Hyperion. Although they are successful in their withdrawal, the Ralgon pursue and re-engage at Hyperion, destroying the fleet and the outpost. Although no formal declaration of war is declared by the Ralgon, Terran Fleet command interprets the attack as an act of war.
    • This will be considered the first battle of the First Ralgon War.
    • The First Ralgon War begins.
  • January 5, 2816
    • The Ralgon launch an all out siege on Varem. Within a matter of a few weeks the planetary defenses will be overwhelmed. The planet will fall within two months.
  • March 18, 2816
    • Having solidified their control of the Varem system, the Raglon begin the subjugation of the Verasai. They enslave the population, strip mine the system and export the resources to parts unknown.
    • Although it is not realized at the time, the Ralgon implant some with Parasites to use them as intermediaries between the Ralgon and the Populace. These individuals, assumed to be willing collaborators are considered high value targets by the Verasai resistance.
    • By the time the Ralgon pull out of Varem, the planet is little more than a husk of what it once was and the Verasai people as a whole are a broken society.

    • As a part of his accelerated training, Cody Amado serves his first training cruise aboard the Triton. At first he finds the ship claustrophobic until one of the senior officers gives him access to the officers lounge where there is a holographic window. It aleviates his claustrophobia long enough for him to adjust and get used to the enclosed environments.
  • May 1, 2818
    • Multiple independent worlds come together in order to provide mutual defense against the Ralgon onslaught. Military personnel from the contributing worlds are folded into the new ISPA chain of command. The civilian governments select a single representative and send them to Lumo to form the governing council. Existing military hardware from member worlds is also folded into the chain of command. Member worlds are assumed to maintain their own militias, but given the immediate need, most militias are depleted to fill the ranks of the ISPA military. This is met with some struggles as the fledgling government works to get on it's feet.
  • June 1, 2819
    • Cody Amado Graduates from the ISPA Officer's Academy, is promoted to the rank of Ensign, and begins his first assignment serving in local fleet logistics on Earth.
  • August 6, 2820
    • Cassandra Amado is promoted to Lieutenant Commander on board the Corinoth. The ship is transferred to the 7th fleet assigned to the Sol System and the surrounding sectors
  • August 27, 2820
    • On Varem, Vivine Melor participates in a guerilal attack to destroy what is thought to be a Ralgon slave transport. In actuality her group bombs a Remali diplomatic envoy camoflauged as a prison transport.
    • General Rashar's mother and father are killed this day. None of this information is known at the time and will not be known until 2832.
  • December 1, 2820

    • Cody Amado is promoted to Lieutenant and transfers to the Sol Slipstation to begin work on logistics and resource management for the system as a whole.
  • March 17, 2821
    • Continuing his advance through the ranks of the Marine Corps, [[Marcus Foster[]] is promoted to Captain.
  • May 28, 2821
    • When it's leadership is killed during the Siege of Sol, Marcus Foster steps in and takes command. His actions will later be credited with saving the unit.
    • Cody Amado correctly anticipates a Ralgon sneak attack during the Siege of Sol. He diverts resouces to defend the convoy, but in doing so he leaves ground forces, including Cassandra Amado who had been sent down from her ship, without their air support. As a result, ground forces are over run and Cassandra is presumed lost.
    • Caught in a Ralgon ambush and cut off from air support, Cassandra Amado's unit is overrun. Amado is listed as MIA, presumed KIA.
  • July 4, 2821
    • A full investigation is launched into the actions of Cody Amado during the Siege of Sol. Amado will truthfully cite that it was he who diverted her air support and the investigation concludes that his actions were appropriate as the diversion of resources was necessary to defend civilians under attack by Ralgon forces. Cody Amado is promoted as a result. Despite this, Cassandra will hold Cody responsible for her situation.
  • July 13, 2821
    • After completing physical therapy with his prosthetic arm, Marcus Foster returns to duty.
  • October 3, 2821
    • Cassndra Amado is released from treatment and returned to duty. She will continue to undergo annual treatments and followups. Further, her personal attitude degrades which puts her at odds with her superior officers, ultimately slowing her career progression to a near halt.
  • April 15, 2822
    • The ISPA begins the Mjollnir Project in order to develop a new line of battleship. The initial indications are that the ship will require a massive amount of time and resources. Never the less it is decided that this project is too vital to the strategic needs of the ISPA.
  • October 13, 2822
    • Ralgon forces organize a fleet wide retreat and withdraw from the civilized worlds. No formal cease fire is declared. No formal treaty is signed. The ISPA declares the war to be over. The Mjollnir Project is put on hold and will not be resumed in full for five more years.
  • October 20, 2822
    • With the First Ralgon War considered over, the ISPA begins providing aid to planets in need. At the top of their list is the planet [{Varem]].
  • November 1, 2822
    • While on liberty at a Lumo bar, Cody Amado defends the honor of another patron, Nira Fen. Amado's nose is broken in a resultant bar fight. As he receives medical care, he asks Nira to a formal banquet to celebrate the end of the war. She agrees.
  • November 5, 2822
    • Nira Amado and Cody Amado attend the celebratory and memorial banquet to commemorate the end of the war. The two grow closer as the event progresses. This night will mark the beginning of their romantic relationship.
  • January 3, 2823
    • Cody Amado begins assignment as Operations Manager and Second Officer.on board the Hydra.
  • April 3, 2823
  • Despite the wishes of her father, Jenna Labonne enters the ISPA Flight school to become a fighter pilot. This will mark the beginning of a significant rift in the relationship between father and daughter.
  • September 30, 2823
    • Having graduated near the top of her class in college, Nira Fen begins medical school.
  • April 27, 2824
    • The Verasai expel the ISPA from their space and close their borders.
  • April 27, 2824
    • During the ISPA withdrawl from Varem, Vivine stows away on board the ISPA scout ship Aleacheon. She is discovered several days later. and is able to convince the Commanding officer to allow her a billet as a Petty Officer third class.
  • March 29, 2825
    • Jenna Labonne graduates flight school and is assigned to [[Gryphon Squadron[]]. Although the Gryphon's served with distinction during the war, it has been relegated to base and sector defense in and around Alpha Centauri.
  • May 24, 2825
    • With the Recommendation of her commanding officer, and three other senior officers, Master Chief Petty Officer Vivine Melor enters the ISPA Officer's Academy on an accelerated program.

    • Cassandra Amado is promoted to Commander, a promotion that she feels comes way too late in her career despite her relatively young age. This promotion is not due to her command ability, but rather because the administrative role is a Commander's billet. It is not intended that she will ever be place in a command role.
  • July 20, 2826
    • Having served with distinction aboard Hydra, Cody Amado is promoted to Commander and transfers to Olympus as first officer.
  • November 3, 2826
    • Vivine Melor graduates the Academy and is promoted to Ensign.
  • June 15, 2827
    • Although the immediate threat of the Ralgon seems to have passed, the ISPA determines it is worthwhile to resume work on the Mjollnir Project.
  • July 31, 2827
    • Nira Fen graduates medical school. Instead of going straight to work, she focuses on wedding planning.

    • Vivine Melor is promoted to Lieutenant JG. She is not offered a full promotion to Lieutenant given the circumstances of her commission.

    • After a chance meeting with engineers working on the Mjollnir Project, Vivine Melor is offered a position on the team heading up the project. She accepts the promotion.
  • May 18, 2829
    • The spaceframe of the ship that will become known as Mjollnir begins within a bio-dome atmosphere on one of the moons of Lyros.

    • The completed spaceframe of the Mjollnir is lifted from atmosphere bio-dome and set into an orbital dry dock over Lyros where construction continues through completion.

    • Nira Amado transfers to the Lumo central hospital as a member of the medical staff working directly under the medical chief of staff.

Marcus Foster is promoted to Colonel and takes command of the 314th Marine Batallion.

  • July 1, 2831
    • When an opening on Gryphon Squadron becomes available for squadron commander, Jenna Labonne applies. Although she is the junior most applicant, she is able to demonstrate her piloting skills are far superior to her competitors She assumes command after a bit of a gamble by challenging her competitors to a mock engagement. When her team comes out victorious, her rivals, by agreement withdraw from contention. In return she makes them wing commanders within the squad.
  • February 1, 2832
    • Cody Amado is promoted to Captain and assumes command of Mjollnir. Although he will work primarily out of his office on [[Lumo[] until the ship is ready to be launched, he will make multiple trips to and from Lyros to be on site, inspect the ship, and learn about it. He also travels to and fro on recruiting calls.
  • October 10, 2832
    • The final engine test of the Mjollnir ends in near catastrophe when a computer malfunction almost overloads the engine. Vivine Melor is able to avert disaster by directing the energy into the weapon systems and discharging it via the ship's main cannons into the Lyros gas giant. No casualties are incurred, though the yards and related traffic is halted for over and hour and a half, causing the delay in the arrival of Cody and Nira Amado to the ship.
    • In the aftermath of the investigation, Vivine Melor suspects sabotage by an unknown party but is unable to prove it. However Cody Amado authorizes her to continue her investigation. Quietly.
  • October 11, 2832
    • Artez Colony is destroyed buy an unknown force. The attack is brutal, destroying the orbital slip station, ships in the system, and all life on the colony.
  • October 13, 2832
    • The Mjollnir and her crew arrives at Artez Colony to investigate it's disappearance. They discover the colony and all ISPA assets in the system are destroyed.
  • October 17, 2832
    • The Mjollnir crew encounters the Remali. Although the intiial confrontation is hostile, General Rashar and Cody Amado are able to come to a mutual respect and productive working relationship.
    • Believing her to be a terrorist responsible for killing her parents, Rashar siezes custsody of Vivine Melor and demands a hearing for her extradition. Cody Amado agress as a formality and a way to draw out the Remali relationship to the Ralgon, the suspected culprits of the Artez attack. Although Rashar's accusations ultimately prove true, that Melor was a member of a team that destroyed a shipyard over Varem during the First Ralgon War, and inadverntenly killed Rashar's parents, Amado refuses to permit extradition. Despite Rashar's adament intentions, she finally conceeds.
  • November 5, 2832
    • Acting at the request of General Rashar, Cody Amado takes the Mjollnir into deep space to recover a lost Remali supply convoy. Intial indications show that the convoy had been attacked, but no culprit is immediately identified. In the intervening hours, the Mjollnir takes on what supllies they can, but Schrider's trechary instigates a Ralgon attack from within the ships. Although the recovery teams are successful in their extraction from the convoy, Marcus Foster is killed. In the immediate aftermath, Cassandra Amado will blame her brother for Foster's death, but the two will use the incident to set in a new strategy for dealing with the Remali in their investigation of the Artez Massacre.
  • November 9, 2832
    • As expected, a Versai fleet, led by Miresh Melor, attacks Surahan station. Although they intend to remain neutral, officially, the Mjollnir is drawn into the fighting. Allied with the Remali, the Mjollnir is successful in driving the Versai back, but the fight is cut short when the Ralgon attack the station as well. The Verasai, Remali, and Mjollnir re-form an allied front against the Ralgon long enough to cover the withdrawl of all assets. Although the evacuation is successful, Surahan station is destroyed and both Cody and Cassie Amado are incapacitated, leaving command of the Mjollnir to Schrider who has been secretly masking as Timin Aler.
