Despite the generally incestous nature of relationships involving operatives of the CNSCP, Kathleen Povey was not ever involved with the CNSCP, other than her relationship with Briggs. She was a school teacher, teaching music to elementary school students. She was aware that Briggs worked in government intelligence, but was happy to stay out of the details of the day to day operations. Her life was simple and as far as characters go, she’s extremely vanilla.
